Custom agentic applications
- Need
- Product teams need answers from telemetry, customer signals, notes, and reporting data that live across several systems.
- Work
- Built two production agent experiences with curated data access, natural-language-to-KQL, modular skills, authentication, export, and structured evaluation.
- Considerations
- Prompt-injection detection, PII redaction, least-privilege access, Responsible AI review, DLP, and security hardening were part of the design.
Self-service product analytics
- Need
- Adoption, engagement, and product evidence can become fragmented across reports and inconsistent metric definitions.
- Work
- Evolved a central Kusto-backed Power BI model with managed-device, trend, and opportunity views, a unified customer filter, and reusable model metrics.
- Considerations
- Consolidated overlapping dashboards and treated the semantic model as shared infrastructure instead of a collection of one-off reports.
Standardized reporting workflows
- Need
- Customer-health reporting involved repeated document work, hard-to-find entries, and fragile handoffs.
- Work
- Redesigned the reporting workflow around global search, rich-text editing, in-app HTML preview, multi-select fields, and embedded telemetry lookups.
- Considerations
- The result is a consistent self-service workflow that reduces manual document generation while keeping people responsible for the final judgment.
Reusable data and automation layers
- Need
- The same KQL patterns, feature-request analysis, and reporting steps were being rebuilt for each request.
- Work
- Created a documented KQL function library and reusable agent skills for trend reports, evidence gathering, duplicate detection, and theme synthesis.
- Considerations
- Definitions and validation live in shared components so improvements can reach more than one report or one person’s workflow.
